audformat.define¶

The audformat.define module provides definitions of string values that are part of the audformat specifications and should not be changed by a user, namely:

`DataType`	Data types of column content.
`IndexField`	Index fields of a table.
`IndexType`	Index types of a table.
`MediaType`	Media type of table.
`RaterType`	Rater type of column.
`SplitType`	Split type of table.
`TableStorageFormat`	Storage format of tables.
`Usage`	Usage permission of database.

In addition, it provides definitions of string values commonly used inside a database, like licenses or scheme labels. Those are not part of the audformat specifications and can be changed by a user, namely:

`Gender`	Gender scheme definitions.
`License`	Common public licenses recommended to use with your data.
